Amy is one awesome blogger - she lives in Africa and runs an orphanage there. And her husband keeps snakes. Poisonous ones. In the freezer. Oh, and for the next 3-ish weeks, she will have no electricity during the day. Only at night. Seriously. The adventures of Africa! You can read all of Amy's adventures (including the awesome royal wedding party she'll be throwing!) and see all the adorable children she (and her help) care for here on her blog.

Congratulations Lorene! I'm so excited for you! Funny how having a different gender than the first can seem sort of unnerving (for dads, and sometimes moms). We felt a little that way before Zachary was born, but found out that a baby is a baby and you just love and cuddle them the same. Then you grow with them as they change. Girls are so wonderful! Hooray, hooray!

Congrats on the girl-- and I promise, you really will get used to it! Boys and girls are different, but it's a lot of fun seeing the differences. So much fun! Love it!
